King Edward VI College is recognised as one of the top performing sixth form colleges in the West Midlands. We are the largest provider of A Levels in the local area whilst keeping to a maximum class size of 23.

The college is a vibrant, inclusive and exciting community with around 2300 students from a variety of cultural and social backgrounds, united in their enthusiasm for learning.

We offer 35 A Level subjects as well as a Level 3 Diploma in Criminology and a BTEC in Applied Science. We don’t put our subjects in option blocks and so students can select any combination of courses they wish, dependent on achieving our entry requirements.

All of our courses are challenging and exciting. When making your selection, remember students who choose subjects they enjoy tend to get the most out of their studies.

At King Ed’s we offer outstanding, individualised pastoral and academic support to our students, encouraging them to excel during their studies with us and beyond.

King Ed’s opens doors to the top universities, apprenticeship programmes and employers as we have a trusted and impressive track record. We pride ourselves in fostering the growth of individuals who leave us as academically able, independent and well prepared for the next major step in their life.

Applications for entry September 2021 are now closed but will reopen on GCSE results day, 12 August.
